The Hamburg band kollektiv22 is busy. Both in the world and at night. With a concentrated portion of joie de vivre, the six-member band has been maneuvering through the most diverse areas of the creative world for a good 10 years now. So it is only superficially surprising that always, when you least expect it, a surprise comes around the corner. After the band had great success with their debut album geschichten ohne versmaß, it became quiet around, but not in the collective. Now the band has played itself back onto the tableau with its new EP der könig ist tod, exposing a whole new, more mature side of kollektiv.

Between poetic lyrics about humility, crash, revolution and always ecstasy, the desire for freedom arises on danceable beats - amidst a wild mixture of rap and vocals, guitars and synthesizers.

On 01.12. now the second part of the double EP is released, which will be celebrated with a release concert on the same evening at the legendary Hamburg club Knust.
