We cordially invite you to a collective printing session with Frauen machen Druck and to the launch of the zine Feldnotizen zu staatlicher Gewalt an Berliner Schulen, 2026. The publication was created as a joint work by Pary El-Qalqili and İz Öztat as part of the exhibition Wie verlernen wir Gehorsam?

Interested people of all ages are invited to discover the linocut as a creative tool. Together we will work on a collective print that addresses the themes of the exhibition. In this way, we will create a collective space for artistic expression, self-empowerment and visible resistance.

The zine Feldnotizen zu staatlicher Gewalt an Berlin Schulen, 2026 summarizes the extensive research, conversations and findings of the exhibition. It offers a critical insight into pedagogical logics that normalize state violence and criminalization in schools. The booklet bundles interviews with students who are currently resisting repression in public schools, a conversation between Pary El-Qalqili, legal scholar Nahed Samour and defense lawyer Nevin Duran, as well as a dialogue between El-Qalqili and Öztat about their artistic research process and methods.

Frauen machen Druck is a Berlin-based linocut and printmaking network for women* of different backgrounds, generations and realities. Many participants bring migrant perspectives with them. The focus is on joint artistic work, exchange and empowerment in a solidary, anti-racist and intersectional space. The workshop will be accompanied by Alina Georgescu and Laila Iraki from Frauen machen Druck*.
