When people think of Königswinter, they usually picture the Drachenfels, the Siebengebirge, or the Rhine promenade. But behind these well-known tourist landmarks lies a diverse working world that significantly shapes life in the city. Following its successful premiere in November 2025 and the positive response it received, the exhibition is now being shown again in Königswinter.

While photography often focuses on landscapes, historic buildings, or tourist attractions, this exhibition turns the spotlight on the people and their work. With its second major exhibition, the AWO Photo Club aims to shed light on a topic that has received little attention thus far and to document the diversity of professions and occupations in Königswinter.

Many residents are hardly aware that, in addition to its tourist attractions, Königswinter is also a significant economic and industrial hub. The photographs offer fascinating insights into work processes, production procedures, and the people who work there every day.

The exhibition invites visitors to get to know Königswinter from a new perspective and to appreciate the contributions of the people whose work helps the city function and thrive.
