Könnt´Schlimmer Sein! - goes Improtheater Mannheim

"Could Be Worse!" came about from a chance meeting during an annual improv course and the shared realization: We enjoy performing together, and we want to keep doing it. Since 2025, Therese, Sebastian, Martin, and Andreas have been performing as a regular quartet, combining their diverse experiences, backgrounds, and performance styles into a cohesive ensemble.

What unites the four of them is their enthusiasm for spontaneous storytelling, surprising characters, and the magic of stories that emerge without a script. Their respective training has taken them from local improv greats in the Rhine-Neckar region to workshops and festivals featuring national and international improv artists.

Living in Mannheim, the Odenwald, Stuttgart, and the Palatinate, they regularly travel many kilometers for rehearsals and performances—driven by the conviction that good improvisational theater thrives above all on trust, the joy of performing, and the courage to leap into the unknown together. And if something does go wrong along the way: It could be worse!
