Konzert am Kanal - Deen&Blumenstein

In the organizer's words:

Deen & Blumenstein is an indie folk duo from Leipzig. Both are thoroughbred musicians and love nothing more than performing on as many stages as possible and have been doing so for quite a long time, in various combinations.
What sets them apart live is the mix of Deen's soulful and catchy melodies and lyrics and Blumenstein's unique improvisation.
This special mix means that every concert is unique in its own way. Added to this are the quick-wittedness and comedic flair of both live professionals.
A nice balance to the sometimes melancholy and thoughtful music, which is never pushed into the background.
While one song is still fragile and tender, Blumenstein plays his violin like a glam rocker in the 70s and Deen's voice brings rock'n'roll and folk together.
