Das Konvolut is a seven-piece ensemble from Leipzig that aims to get its audience dancing with a refreshing mix of genres. Founded in 2020 by a group of musicians from Leipzig with different musical backgrounds, the band impresses with its passion for rhythmic richness, attention to detail and driving brass sections. In their compositions, they combine the rhythms of West Africa with the grooves of American funk and the improvisational freedom of jazz to create an energetic mix of traditional and modern sounds. With this diversity, they bring together a wide audience at their concerts, who enjoy being inspired by their captivating improvisations to create an intense experience.

"Ramatou" is Wolof for "parrot". And the music of the band of the same name is just as colorful, loud and inspired. The Ramatou Orchestra is an eight-piece jazz ensemble from Frankfurt am Main. From African influences to neo-soul, fusion and funk, it brings together a variety of contemporary styles that are probably best described as "jazz". Danceable grooves from a driving rhythm section, catchy melodies with varied instrumentation, unusual arrangements, harmonious soundscapes and playful improvisation from all the musicians combine to create this "Ramatou sound", to which the hips are swung and which simply won't stop making you smile after the concert. Especially at their live events, the band draws on their diverse experience and turns the virtuosity of the individual musicians, their many different influences and the liveliness of the constantly reinterpreted pieces into a literal celebration together with the audience, with lots of sweat, colorful lights and dancing!

Janeck Altshuler comes from the Ukraine, lives in Wiesbaden and is active as a DJ, organizer, music enthusiast and cultural creator in the Rhine-Main region. For two decades now, he has been taking his colorful audience on musical expeditions to faraway lands, where the folklore of village festivals and weddings is constantly evolving in an urban environment. The traditional meets the contemporary and the ultra-modern, 1000-year-old instruments meet electronic beats. As part of the DJ duo "Oriental Tropical" and solo, Janeck can be seen on stages large and small, indoors or outdoors in clubs or at festivals. As the founder and project leader of the popular collective "Mach mal langsam", he has been slowing down the dancefloor since 2016 with this motto, powerful and deep, without musical boundaries. From his hand there is always fresh and evergreen musical fruit from Fairtrade, played with love and understanding, without using too many world music clichés!
