DEWY PINES

... stand for grungy alternative rock with a pinch of indie and a strand of emo DNA. Their sound combines raw textures with soulful melodies and creates songs that evoke nostalgia and surprise at the same time. Formed during the first lockdown in 2020, the project evolved from a spontaneous creative outburst into a band in its own right. With their debut EP Chew (2023), Dewy Pines received a mention in VISIONS, Germany's leading magazine for alternative and rock music. In 2024, they supported Welshly Arms on stage and released the singles and music videos for the songs Irrational (October 2024) and Nothing Wrong (May 2025). This was followed shortly afterwards by a performance at the Maifeld Derby Festival, one of Europe's most renowned independent festivals. The band is currently working on new songs - and is consistently pushing their sound forward both on record and live.

WAVE OFF

You find yourself on one of those late summer evenings when the sun sinks below the horizon and lights up the sky in orange and purple hues. You enjoy its warmth, knowing that there won't be many more of these evenings before fall begins. The Mannheim-based post-punk band WAVE OFF capture precisely these vibes with their catchy yet raw sounds.

The band's influences are broad and range from 2000s indie, surf punk and garage to post-hardcore. They bring these influences together in their own way, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and modern.
