The music night Klangprisma makes the music city of Mannheim vibrate for one evening! Together with the Cultural Office of the City of Mannheim, the forum youth cultural center transforms its premises into a vibrant music club and shows what the Mannheim music scene is all about! A colorful mosaic of melodies, full sounds, floating sounds, grooves, encounters and energy comes together - a spotlight for local musicians that once again proves how diverse, passionate and creative this city sounds! Klangprisma Mannheim is more than just a night of music: it is a statement for a vibrant music culture and for cultural meeting places where music is lived and loved! Listen to the sound and feel the pulse of our city - the Prisma resounds!

Close your eyes for a few moments, unwind and enjoy. Between neo-soul, singer-songwriter style and jazz influences, the voice of listentojules gives hope for the future. Behind the name is the Mannheim musician Julia "Jules" Nagele, who combines a special lightness and depth with her warm voice, unmistakable guitar picking and honest lyrics. Today she is accompanied by Florin Küppers on guitar, who paints new colors into her songs with his soundscapes and solos.

Kitsch & thunderstorms

The up-and-coming quartet Kitsch & Gewitter is an exciting addition to the music scene. The band presents their debut vinyl "Thorns" - an innovative fusion of electronic sounds, energetic grooves and the acoustic intimacy of jazz. Kitsch & Gewitter is the unique synthesis of energetic grooves, floating sounds and lyrical melodies!

Julian Maier-Hauff

Julian Maier-Hauff studied jazz trumpet in Mannheim and Basel as well as Producing Composing Artist at the Popakademie BW, where he now works as a lecturer. As a trumpeter, saxophonist and trombonist, he moves between pop, jazz, electronic and experimental music. His solo project combines improvised analog & digital electronics with live instruments and unites house, electronic & jazz. He has composed for orchestras such as the junge norddeutsche Philharmonie and the Münchner Rundfunkorchester. In addition to international tours and festival appearances, he develops cultural formats, including the first Mannheim street music festival and the church music series ReCreate. He shows that genres, art forms and techniques can be creatively combined, always in search of new forms of expression to make aesthetics and harmony a constructive experience.
