Konzert: Slowkiss / Fragile Animals (Shoegaze / Dreampop)

Slowkiss play shoegaze with fried guitars. It sounds as if grunge was created in the studios of Creation Records. It could be that a few punks were hanging around there too. Of course, that's cheese, because the band is originally from Chile. Slowkiss have been performing on stages in South America, the USA and Europe since 2014, bringing their milling, rocking, floating sound to the world.

Fragile Animals is an Australian dream pop band that was founded in 2016 on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and is now based in Brisbane. The band's sound is not easy to categorize. The basis of the songs has its roots in dream pop. Slow groovy rhythms, sugar-sweet floating guitar carpets and the singer's almost ethereal vocals. But then the fuzz pedal is repeatedly pressed down and the dopamine output in the audience is increased in well-dosed spurts. It's incredibly beautiful, come along and see for yourself.
