Konzert: Supersuckers (Cowpunk, USA) + The Spitters (Garage / 77 Punk, FR)

In the organizer's words:

The greatest RocknRoll band in the world, the Supersuckers, formed back in 1988 and released their first album "The Smoke of Hell" in 1992 on Seattle's Sub Pop label. At this point in their illustrious, almost 40-year career, Supersuckers have nothing left to prove to anyone. Led by charismatic singer/bassist Eddie of rocking out killer punk rock songs, along with their not-so-serious lyrics.
So much so that the band's legacy has grown over the years, as has their fanatical fanbase.
The band's last three albums - "Holdin' the Bag, Suck It" (2015, released in 2018) and "Play That Rock N' Roll" (2020) - were practically produced and released by Supersuckers themselves. After years of relentless touring, Spaghetti, along with guitarist "Metal" Marty Chandler and drummer Christopher "Chango" von Streicher, decided to go back into the studio for "Liquor, Women, Drugs & Killing" (Hardcharger Records), the band's twelfth studio album. After forays into the cowboy and country realms in recent years, they've returned with snotty rawk 'n' roll, a raised middle finger and that signature Supersuckers sound - a little bit of country and a whole lot of Motörhead.
No band is cooler than the Supersuckers. And the band's RocknRoll train chugs tirelessly through the world. They have countless tours under their belts.
Now on the road as a trio for a long time, they will also be delighting fans with a European tour in 2026. Songs from this album, old classics and one or two country songs are part of the program. And lots of coolness.
As Lemmy said: "If you don't like the Supersuckers, you don't like Rock-N-Roll." Lemmy

The Spitters is an explosive meeting between four sharped temparements from Toulon, southern France : Max, Dorian, Barny and Sloog
Mixing Garage revival and 77' Punk with catchy pop melodic lines, the band is killing it on stage through small and large European stages. Communicative energy, high voltage shows and good vibes since 2014 when the band released their first album "Crazy" through Death to Majors Records.
Their surprisingly heterogeneous second effort "Movement" is unleashed in 2016, followed two years later by their third one, entitled "Critical Strike", still under Death to Majors Records flag. Back to their 70's punk roots, deliberately lo-fi and pure 80's devastating violence, no compromise !
With 3 albums under their belts, the band started to hit bigger stages, killer festivals in France, and cult places in the UK like London and Brighton...
Back from tour and hard at work during chaotic times in 2020, The Spitters inked a deal with international label Tentacles Industries. Recorded by french garage legend Lo Spider [ The Monsters, Slift, Magnetix... ] "Kitty Brain" is released on 13th of october 2022, distributed and promoted worldwide. 11 tracks where you can hear the essence of the band : garage, punk, pop, melodies.
The band had the honor and pleasure to share the stage with acts like : The Hives, Ty Segall, Suicidal Tendencies, Phoenix, Kurt Vile, Red Fang, Ryan Adams and many more !
