This July, it’s time once again for the DANCE WORKSHOP FOR EVERYONE. This time, the workshop isfocusedon the production*Vox et Spiritus*: Ballet director and choreographer Dominique Dumais and theater educator Corinna Tetzel combine breath, voice, and body to create expansive movements, sharpening awareness of the subtle interactions set in motion by the breath as the most primal life force. Through group-dynamic processes, they explore the question of whether it is possible to develop a shared breath; what it means to have staying power; how voice arises from breath; and what network of communication this creates. At the heart of the experience is the sense of being part of a larger organism that guides and inspires us, allowing us to respond flexibly to change.

Once again, we are offering the DANCE WORKSHOP FOR EVERYONE for children ages 8 to 12. The dance workshop is free of charge. Previous dance experience is welcome but not required for participation. Space is limited. Registrations will be processed in the order they are received.
