Convertible concert at the end of the season

A balmy summer evening filled with music, encounters and special moments: With the summer serenade, the Mainfranken Theater invites you to an atmospheric end to the season.

The evening unfolds in two parts and begins with a changing concert that allows the world of music to be experienced from different perspectives in three stages. In the intimate setting of the rehearsal stage, baritone Leo Hyunho Kim touches the audience with a song salon. In the entrance foyer, General Music Director Mark Rohde provides exciting insights into the art of conducting and invites you to discover music from the perspective of the musical director. Chamber music with musicians from the Philharmonic Orchestra can be heard in the Kleines Haus.

After this first journey through the musical inner life of the theater , a relaxed break invites you to continue enjoying the evening in a convivial atmosphere on the city balcony and in the upper foyer. Refreshing drinks and a summery selection of food provide culinary moments. The admission package includes a drink and a canapé of your choice.

The season concludes with a joint final concert in the Kleines Haus. Frederick Delius' Summer Night on the River and Manuel de Falla's ballet suite El amor brujo with mezzo-soprano Vero Miller exude a summery, Mediterranean atmosphere. Stefan Albers, principal flute of the Philharmonic Orchestra, will be the soloist in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Flute Concerto in G major KV 313.
