Kraniche auffädeln für Hiroshima

In the organizer's words:

Join in and help us prepare the cranes for their journey to Japan!

Last year we received tens of thousands of origami cranes, which were folded by many people to commemorate the US atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We would like to send these cranes on a journey to Japan. So that the special peace symbols can be exhibited in Hiroshima, they now have to be threaded onto long strings.

On Tuesday, February 10, we therefore cordially invite you and the Women's Network for Peace to thread the loose paper cranes together at the office of the Netzwerk Friedenskooperative! The threaded cranes will then be sent to Hiroshima in the summer - as a sign of peace and hope.

We want to get together in a cozy atmosphere with cookies and tea and do handicrafts together. Join in and help us prepare the cranes for their journey!

Even if you only have a short time, you are very welcome - every helping hand counts!
