What happens when roles are assigned faster than you can even grasp them? When language draws lines before someone is allowed to move? When a word becomes a label and an error becomes a judgment? And what happens when even Hans has to fight for his sausage in the midst of the chaos of these attributions?

The answer is: riot.

Krawallspiel tells of the subtle and coarse mechanisms that shape belonging: of glances, expectations, attributions and those quiet moments when someone is suddenly on the "outside" without knowing why.
The play does not look at these dynamics from a safe distance.
