🔎 Mannheim crime scene - life is short
A crime trail is a special mixture of city exploration and interactive criminal case. You move through real neighborhoods like on an individual city tour, but follow an exciting story. Using your smartphone and digital investigation file, you collect clues, check statements and combine evidence. You decide the pace and sequence yourself - outside, flexibly and in the middle of the city action.
The crime trail focuses on the death of Paul, a member of the Masculum civitatem fraternity (fictional). Early in the morning, he is found lifeless on the banks of the Neckar. He had been out with two fraternity mates the night before - but he never made it home. What happened that night?
It quickly becomes clear: a natural death can be ruled out. The circumstances of his death raise questions, and the list of possible motives is long. Were there internal conflicts within the fraternity? Did someone know more than they wanted to admit? Or does the key to the truth lie in the university environment in which Paul moved on a daily basis? The investigation also focuses on his private life - because not every relationship was as harmonious as it seemed on the outside.
Now it's up to you - take over the investigation on the Mannheim Crime Trail! You follow various leads, make decisions and are constantly faced with the question of which clues you can trust. Via the investigation chat, you stay in contact with the operations center, receive new information and have to question your previous assumptions. Small puzzles, on-site observations and the clever combination of clues will bring you closer to the truth step by step.
Your search for clues will take you through the Neckarstadt and along the banks of the Neckar. Discover places such as the Quadrat-Latsche, the Alte Feuerwache and Clignetplatz. In between, cafés and restaurants invite you to pause for a moment and discuss new theories.
