You can expect a varied evening that combines research, storytelling and film - two formats in one evening!

Getting older and staying young - facts and literary finds
How can independence and quality of life be maintained for as long as possible? And how will older people be cared for in the future? What role will digital technologies play in this?
The "Literature meets science" format combines facts from current research and literary finds to create a lively evening. Dr. Patrick Roigk, a researcher into ageing, care and healthcare at the Bosch Health Campus, provides insights into the latest findings on prevention and rehabilitation. In keeping with this, reciter Barbara Greese will read literary and philosophical texts by Hermann Hesse, Arthur Schopenhauer, Eugen Roth and others that will make you think and smile.
An evening between insight and narrative art - informative and entertaining, moderated by Salome Berblinger, editor at Bild der Wissenschaft. In cooperation with Bosch Health Campus and Bild der Wissenschaft.

Short film "The Researchers" followed by a discussion between director Nahom Mihretu and Prof. Dr. Keimer, MPI Stuttgart
An obsessed physics student confronts the unanswered questions of modern physics. On his path as a researcher, he meets Professor Meyer, who is about to retire. Impressed by David's passion for the unknown and the impossible, the two join forces for a seemingly utopian research project: The development of a room-temperature superconductor. Driven by the spirit of discovery and torn by their own professional imperfection, the researchers succeed in making the discovery of the century. The film, which has won awards at international film festivals, will be shown to the general public for the first time!
The screening will be followed by a discussion between director Nahom Mihretu and Prof. Dr. Keimer, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research, about their dedication to science and the world of superconductors.
