About HEADS&ROOMS
In portrait photography and cinematic works, the term "headroom" is generally understood as the space above a subject placed in the picture towards the picture frame.
This emptiness becomes a tool for creating balance or instability.
Based on the guiding principle of the headroom, the exhibition by Schubert & Pillig HEADS&ROOMS follows mechanisms of placing in relation, redirects visual paths, creates balance and instability without losing the head.
