Kunst zur Zeit: Oderbrucher Blasmusik e.V.

From July 16 to August 20, 2026, the Brandenburg State Parliament will once again be hosting its summer event series "Kunst zur Zeit" in the inner courtyard every Thursday at 6 p.m. for the seventh time. Guests can look forward to a varied program of music, shows and literature from Brandenburg. The open-air performances are each about 60 minutes long. Free admission, no registration required.

The Oderbrucher Blasmusik e.V. association was founded in 2002 and is dedicated to promoting folk music and cultural preservation in the rural region. The orchestra now performs over 40 times a year and is a musical ambassador for the Oderland region, not only in Germany but also in the Czech Republic, Poland and Luxembourg. The 16-piece ensemble conveys good humor with "tube and trombone" from traditional Bohemian brass music to the modern era. The orchestra encourages interaction with other ensembles at the annual brass music festival organized in Falkenhagen (Mark) and at the taps on the promenade at the large Müllros lake.
