Sound(g)arten 2026 – Trip - Henn Miller's Musicvan

The back of this van has room for a few passengers. As soon as the door closes, a road trip of a very special kind begins. Henn Miller’s MusicVan uses the vehicle as a sound space, an instrument, a projection surface, and a stage. Inside the van, an improvised soundtrack plays, featuring electronic and acoustic instruments along with live loops of percussive sounds. Engine noises, taps on the windows, vibrations, and the clanging of metal and sheet metal create the impression of a musical journey that feels like a high-speed drive on the highway. It smells like freedom!
