In close partnership with two other leading AI research locations in Leuven and Eindhoven, RWTH Aachen University is becoming increasingly important in the European AI landscape. Together with initiatives such as the JUPITER AI Factory and the Aachen AI Alliance, this opens up great opportunities for our city and the entire region.

🌐But what is the concrete potential of these developments? What future prospects can be derived from them - for business, science and society? And why might Europe need a different form of artificial intelligence than the one that currently dominates the world?

At 'Europe on Tuesday', we will discuss with expert Prof. Holger Hoos what strategic decisions need to be taken in Germany and Europe in order to develop responsible, efficient and sovereign AI. It will also become clear why our region in particular is ideally placed to play a central role in this transformation process.

Questions from the audience are welcome. The event will be moderated by Niklas Iwannek, moderator for political and social topics.
