Even before the new album by the two critically acclaimed Munich musicians Stefan Weyerer and Nick Flade is released, there will be a preview evening with new songs and the new program for the first time today. The Berlin combo "Kanal" will be on board as support.

Kupfer stands for special, mostly German-language songs with messages and poetry, always walking the line between depth and lightness. Stefan Weyerer and Nick Flade present all of this at their concerts in an energetic, touching and captivating instrumental performance. The new and third album by the two long-term collaborators will be released in spring on BSC Music.

Kupfer has been performing at club concerts on TV and radio throughout Germany since 2017.

Flade and Weyerer got to know each other when the former "Kapelle Weyerer" was the touring band of singer, actress and Jazz Echo winner Jasmin Tabatabai. After the last album of his "Kapelle Weyerer", "indie poet" Weyerer took his time for a new project and founded Kupfer. Among other things, he has written award-winning film music for independent cinema, works on theater projects and produces albums and songs for other artists. He also works as a studio and live musician far beyond the boundaries of pop. He has performed live throughout Europe and the USA on his own account and as a sideman.

Nick Flade was already in demand as a live and session musician at the age of 17. He is now also booked internationally. In recent years, he has performed on stage with Max Mutzke, Laith Al Deen and Willy Astor, among others. He also works as a producer and songwriter.

KAИAL is a post-avant-garde rock band from Berlin which will disappear in 2030.

In October 2024, the Wendekids released their fourth and best record, "NOSTALGIA". The opener "Feierabendstadt" was promptly shortlisted for the Listen-to-Berlin-Awards and Frontstage Magazine said: "KANAL's fourth studio album is a musical statement. [...] It goes far beyond most listening habits."

Formed during the heyday of the Cottbus music scene and rekindled in Berlin's garages, the quintet stands for visually stunning, German-language band music. Who can still be overwhelmed by new music? From a stream in which everyone gets lost and everyone is saved?
