The felling of a cherry tree becomes the starting point of an intimate cinematic dialog between mother and daughter. The boundary between the need for clarification and the desire for healing becomes blurred as the camera constantly documents the chopping down of the cherry tree in the mother's garden. The short film is an attempt to find a common language for the unspeakable consequences of child sexual abuse within one's own family.

Marie-Lou, Florian, Vincent and Jérôme work for subcontractors in the French nuclear industry. Their job is to renovate old reactors wherever necessary. On the road in their camper van, they try to get as many jobs as possible at nuclear power plants in need of renovation. Because the hefty travel bonuses are only available if the location is changed. They all want to do this job for a few years at most, during which time everything is saved. For life afterwards.
