La Boum - The party under the stars

Thirteen-year-old Vic falls in love with a student of the same age at a high school in Paris. Her parents Francois, a successful dentist, and Francoise, a comic artist, have little time for her and their own problems, because Francois is unfaithful and Francoise is about to fall in love with Vic's teacher. Vic confides in her unconventional grandmother Poupette, who offers her advice and support. The first party without parents brings further excitement, but Vic asserts herself and kisses for the first time. Dreams Are My Reality is played at the party, one of the cuddle hits of the 80s and the ultimate basement party ballad.
