Ska 'n' roll from France!
The French band La Brigade du Kif will heat up the audience in the Pferdestall with their energetic mix, which they themselves describe as "Ska 'n' Roll". The six men in their prime have really stirred up the festivals and concert halls of France in recent years. Their sound is a mixture of ska, rock and swing.
Making people dance is in the band's DNA. In addition to the rhythms and melodies, the lyrics also play an important role. However, the lyrics are not intended to protest or moralize in any meaningful way. The formation is much more concerned with offering the audience a little cheeky food for thought.
The Narbonne-based band led by singer, guitarist and composer Mika Riff is playing in Bremerhaven for the first time.
