Like a pirate crew on a treasure hunt, the musicians of 'Capitán' from Argentina travel the entire globe, spreading their specially created genre called "Fanfarria Latina". This is an explosive mixture of Balkan beat, cumbia, rock, reggae, ska and much more. With this unique mixture of gripping Latin American rhythms and rousing world beat styles, they captivate enthusiastic fans worldwide. The term not only stands for the type of music, but also for a very special attitude to life full of dance frenzy and joie de vivre, which the band celebrates on stage with lots of fun and energy.

The band was founded in Buenos Aires and has been touring the world for ten years now, their meteoric rise taking them all over Europe as well as to South America, Russia, China and Japan. Since 2019, they have been the celebrated band in the Spanish Netflix series 'House of Money' with the titles "La Flor Y El Libro" (season 3.1) and "La Palloza" (season 4.5). LA FANFARRIA DEL CAPITAN
Banda argentina creada en Buenos Aires en 2004 que viaja alrededor del mundo compartiendo su apasionante música: una combinación de folk, rock, ritmos latinos y poesía.
Juglares, viajeros y exploradores que cuentan historias y llevan melodías de un lugar a otro. Poseen un sonido único, lleno de emociones y un espectáculo en vivo energizante.
Cada año giran internacionalmente dando 100 conciertos a lo largo de Latinoamérica, Europa, Rusia, China y Japón, en grandes festivales y reconocidas salas.
Banda sonora de la serie de Netflix "La Casa de Papel", temporadas 3 y 4, con dos canciones originales del álbum "La Giravida". Actúan en dos de sus capítulos.
También son parte de la banda sonora de la serie rusa "The Method" con un tema del disco "E Viva!".
Tienen 5 álbumes editados: "Flores del Bosque de Bolonia" (2008), "E Viva!" (2012), "Fanfarria Latina on Tour" (2014), "La Giravida" (2016) y "Magias de Hoy" (2019/2020)
