Mannheim's Jungbusch district stands for diversity, creativity and cohesion - and that's exactly what we want to celebrate with you on Sunday, July 13!

At the Festival of Solidarity, we invite all neighbors, friends and supporters to make a powerful statement: For an open society, against exclusion and for a good life for everyone - no matter where we come from.

Live music in the open air - international & rousing

La Fanfarria del Capitán (Buenos Aires, Argentina) (6 pm)
This exceptional Argentinian band brings its energetic sound to our stage - a wild mix of rock, Latin, Balkan beats, ska and cumbia! Known from international tours and Netflix (House of Money), they sweep every audience away with power and attitude. A band that not only stands for the soundtrack of a global movement, but is itself.

Sudaka (Heidelberg) (4 pm)
The Heidelberg-based Latin band brings hot rhythms and a good dose of groove. Latin, funk, reggae and a large portion of joy in playing - that's Sudaka! A young band from Karlsruhe with roots in Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Germany.

Sudaka's sound takes you on a very special journey, telling stories about love, being a foreigner or enjoying a simple life. With music that brings summer to the streets and invites you to dance.

Like a pirate crew on a treasure hunt, the musicians of 'Capitán' from Argentina travel the entire globe, spreading their specially created genre called "Fanfarria Latina". This is an explosive mixture of Balkan beat, cumbia, rock, reggae, ska and much more. With this unique mixture of gripping Latin American rhythms and rousing world beat styles, they captivate enthusiastic fans worldwide. The term not only stands for the type of music, but also for a very special attitude to life full of dance frenzy and joie de vivre, which the band celebrates on stage with lots of fun and energy.

The band was founded in Buenos Aires and has been touring the world for ten years now, their meteoric rise taking them all over Europe as well as to South America, Russia, China and Japan. Since 2019, they have been the celebrated band in the Spanish Netflix series 'House of Money' with the titles "La Flor Y El Libro" (season 3.1) and "La Palloza" (season 4.5).
