Labasheedais an extraordinaryrock trio from Amsterdam known for its high-energy and electrifying live shows. The band’s music ranges from minimalist, catchy melodies to powerful outbursts: at times, sweeping bass lines and driving rhythms carry the songs; at others, intense, anthemic walls of guitar unfold, full of dynamism and tension.

The band owes its distinctive sound to the unconventional use of the violin, the constantly surprising changes in time signature, and, not least, the striking voice of Saskia van der Giessen. With their sixth studio album,*Blueprints*, released in November 2023, Labasheeda reached another artistic high point. The international music press hailed the album as an innovative post-punk masterpiece.

The current lineup includes: Arne Wolfswinkel (guitar, bass), Saskia van der Giessen (vocals, guitar, violin), and George Hadow (drums).

Thistles
Thistles are a German/Indian/Dutch trio from Cologne, formed in 2023. Guitar, bass, drums—nothing else, and nothing else needed. The band blends post-punk, noise rock, and shoegaze into long, physical arcs: patient builds, walls of feedback, sudden quiet. Songs take their time and then refuse to behave. Their first release, “demo recordings 2025 — live at rehearsalroom,” was recorded live in a single room—no overdubs, no safety net. That’s exactly what you get on stage.
