L.A.B.R. (Large Ancient Bumpy Reptile) is a young jazz trio from the Ruhr area. Elements of neo-classical, minimal, video game music and influences from Abdullah Ibrahim, Pharoah Sanders, Thelonious Monk, Steve Reich and Philip Glass combine in their compositions to create a rhythmically complex and emotionally captivating entity.
