Design your own unique piece! Suitable for beginners!

In this creative workshop, you have the opportunity to make your own lampshade according to your ideas and create a unique table or pendant lamp. Choose your favorite materials and let your imagination run wild!

What you can expect:

In my workshop, you will make a classic cylindrical lampshade, also known as a drum shade, yourself. With additional components, you can transform it into a table or pendant lamp.

The work steps:

1. Material selection: Fabric, lamp base, electrification, shade size, light source
2. Material calculation and cutting
3. Lamination of the fabric
4. Production of the drum shade
5. Preparation of the lamp base (not necessary for pendant lamp/finished base)
6. Electrification (optional)

Your design options:

You can bring your own materials or choose from my stock:

• Fabric: Thinner fabric in sufficient quantity is suitable (preferably 1 running meter).
• Lamp base: A lamp base, vase or bottle (height 25-40 cm). The inner diameter of the opening should be 15-40 mm in order to securely attach the socket.
• Electrification: If your lamp base is not yet electrified, you can buy a socket with plug and switch from me for an extra charge of 20-25€.

If you don't have any materials yet, you can also find suitable vases or bottles in my collection for an extra charge.

Included in the course price of 99 €:

• Material for a lampshade (diameter 20/25/30 cm, max. height 60 cm)
• Cover fabric (choice of 30-40 designs, plain or patterned)
• Drinks and snacks
