For over a decade, Lance Butters has been navigating the German rap scene—without ever having been part of the calculated game. He first gained attention through his unconventional performances at the VBT, followed by his debut album “BLAOW,” which reached number two on the German charts in 2015. “ANGST” marked a turning point in 2018: a shift away from ironic, misanthropic punchlines toward unflinching self-revelation. Since then, themes such as mental health, isolation, and social divides have shaped his work and established him as one of the most distinctive voices in German-language rap.

With the “Selfcare Tour 2027,” Lance Butters picks up right where he left off—and at the same time takes it a step further. Inspired by his “Selfish EP,” the tour’s motto is: “I went from selfish to selfcare.” It’s a statement, a process, and perhaps even a promise.
