Lande Hekt has quietly and unassumingly become one of the best underground songwriters in the UK. On her 2021 debut album *Going To Hell* and its 2022 follow-up *House Without a View*, she explored her queer identity, sobriety, and childhood trauma—all wrapped up in soulful, conversational indie pop that earned her support slots for bands like Alvvays, Throwing Muses, and The Beths. Her new album, *Lucky Now*, written and recorded with producer Matthew Simms (Wire, It Hugs Back), showcases Lande Hekt at her most mature and self-assured to date.
