Charity Concert Marking the 30th Anniversary of the “Tour of Hope”

For more than half a century, the Rhineland-Palatinate State Police Orchestra has been a beloved ambassador for the Rhineland-Palatinate police and a musical representative of the state on the Rhine and Moselle. 
Founded in 1953 as the “Police Music Corps,” the symphonic wind orchestra soon established itself as an ideal bridge between citizens and the police. 
Through guest performances throughout Germany and in other European countries, as well as numerous appearances on radio and television, the Rhineland-Palatinate Police Orchestra has achieved a high level of recognition. 
The orchestra is part of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police Headquarters for Operations, Logistics, and Technology and has been under the direction of Florian Weber since March 17, 2025. 
The repertoire of the 37 professional musicians is as diverse as the orchestra’s responsibilities. It ranges from classical symphonic music to original contemporary works and from traditional marching music to light music.
