As a theater, we are always on the lookout for new encounters. Students from Keren Cytter's class present two short works at the Pumpenhaus, each of which is experimental in its own way. In the performance "das Lieblingsstück" by Laris Maas, a group of conductors are on stage - but without an orchestra. On the desks in front of them: the score they prefer to conduct. Microphones transmit the flipping of the pages. The whirring of the baton. The silence. The music is created in the mind. Anton Schmutzler is working on a video series entitled "Pieces." In it, he tells stories - memories from childhood, observations from everyday life - which he simultaneously puts down on paper as sketches. For example, a wild ball of curls becomes an angry thought. Pumpenhaus meets art academy!
