Las Pibas - Tango offen und bunt

The LAS PIBAS trio combines classical virtuosity with the freedom of improvisation. Delicate, floating sounds merge with powerful rhythms. Musical diversity leads through the syncopated rhythms of Latin America, the passion of tango, the playfulness of Brazilian choro and the splendid variety of baroque ornamentation. The new women's trio "LAS PIBAS" - from Lunfardo, a language of Argentina and Uruguay - means "women" and symbolizes the deep connection to the earth, to everything that vibrates and sounds. This connection is reflected in the music of the three musicians: sometimes gentle, sometimes stormy - but always lively and authentic.

LAS PIBAS are MORIANA KRAUSE (flute/bass flute), THU TRANG SAUER (violin/viola) and KLARA FABRY (clarinet).
