LCB diplomatique - mit Ksenia Lutskina, Eka Kevanishvili und Oksana Pugachova
In the organizer's words:
The three protagonists of this evening can be counted among the “Nation of Strangers”—citizens of the world against their will. The historian and journalist Ksenia Lutskina, like so many Belarusian authors, has been living in exile since her release from political imprisonment;in exile; the Ukrainian journalist Oksana Pugachova has been driven to Latvia by the war in eastern Ukraine; and the Georgian poet Eka Kevanishvili, working as a journalist for Radio Free Europe in Tbilisi, is facing increasingly severe repression. How can one maintain independence and integrity under the given circumstances, “under pressure”? Can exile become a source of strength?
