Loud, direct and without talking too much - this is the motto under which LEBER, a four-piece band from Linz (AT), is going on tour across Germany again. In their lyrics, they shout out what many people are thinking: not up for toxic behavior and social pressure. They often draw parallels between the human world and that of flora and fauna. Between angry screams, distorted guitars and wild synth sounds, it's all about one thing: being loud against the patriarchy - without compromise, without bending. This is exactly how the feminist band sees its concerts: spaces in which sexism and excessive behavior simply have no place.
If you want to hear what LEBER sounds like, it's best to listen to their first vinyl "Es reicht!". On it, they have combined their first four EPs and three other songs into one album.
"With 'Es Reicht!', LEBER calls for resistance against the patriarchy. The feminist band project presents itself as typically punk and without being soft. Nevertheless, a certain irony is never missing. It also shows that music doesn't always have to be learned from scratch to be good."
