On February 15, we will transform the interior of the Gasteig - the former Philharmonie in Munich - into a huge, cozy picnic. We will all contribute to the most delicious buffet ever with the vegan food we bring along. There will be music, a yoga class before the meal, little surprises in between and, above all, a room full of lovely people and a good atmosphere.
But we're not just doing this to have a good time. In times of a shift to the right and wars, sustainability, climate protection and the protection of animals are in danger of being forgotten. Our own prime minister makes fun of us vegans. That's why we want to set an example: WE ARE MANY, we are committed, we continue to care about the world, we demand sustainability and the food transition to be made a top priority again!
Oh yes, to break the world record, we have to be more than 300. That's achievable, isn't it ;)
We look forward to seeing you!

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:
Everyone brings something vegan to share - whether homemade or bought. We provide tables, crockery and the setting. You bring the food and a good mood.
"Wait, you want me to bring my own food?" Yes. And that's the best thing about it. Imagine: 300 people bring their favorite vegan dish. Some bake pancakes. Others make hummus. Someone brings fruit salad, someone brings cinnamon buns. Together they create a buffet that no caterer in the world could manage.
If you want to keep your friends and family cozy, bring a picnic blanket.
THIS IS WHAT YOU BRING: → Something vegan → Enough for your group and 1-2 other people → Homemade or bought - doesn't matter → Sweet or savory - both are fine → And a picnic blanket if necessary - nothing more. We do the rest.
Entry is free of charge. If you can't bring your own vegan food, we would appreciate a donation of 10 euros.
Presented by Future Maps - the app for sustainable and vegan living in Munich.
PS: You are not "vegan" but are trying to eat less animal products? Of course you are also very welcome!
PPS: Do you have a project or organization that is committed to more sustainability and/or veganism? Would you like to support the brunch and present your work on site? Please contact us at sophie.friedrich@future.coop.
Food Safety Note: Please only bring food that is freshly prepared or in its original packaging. Each dish must be labeled with ingredients/allergens and preparation time. We cannot serve food without labeling or with unclear refrigeration and will dispose of it if necessary to protect all guests.
