The so-called clay barons shaped the face of Munich. Their fields provided the raw material for the bricks needed, enabling the city to grow rapidly. In her novel, Elisabeth Schinagl links the lives of the Seidl-Selmayr brickmakers with the development of Bogenhausen into an elegant residential district. Experience an exciting piece of the city's history in this staged reading.
