Leif Vollebekk in Germany for three concerts in spring 2026

From philosopher to troubadour - Canadian singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk has been delighting audiences around the world with his touching folk-pop for over a decade. Growing up in Ottawa, with Norwegian and French roots, Vollebekk initially studied philosophy before moving to Montreal to devote himself to his second great love - music.
His debut album "Inland" was released in 2010 and was largely written during a road trip through Iceland. He made his national breakthrough with the follow-up "North Americana" (2013) - accompanied by a nomination for the prestigious Canadian Juno Award.

The final international success followed in 2017 with "Twin Solitude": multiple nominations for important music awards, enthusiastic critics and sold-out shows in North America, Australia and Europe. By now, artists such as Maggie Rogers and Fred Again had also become avowed fans. "New Ways" (2019), released in 2019, continued this triumph - not least thanks to the use of his songs in well-known series such as "Feel Good", "Lovesick" and "Untamed".
The pandemic also brought a moment of silence for Leif Vollebekk. He withdrew, started a family and returned to his old passions - astronomy, alchemy and philosophy. This phase of contemplation gave rise to "Revelation", released in 2024: an album that sounds both spiritual and grounded, heavenly and organic. Catchy melodies are combined with poetic lyrics about water, stars, mortality - and about the big questions of life, love and loss. Music that sounds beautiful, alive and deeply human.
