ART COURSES AT TAPETENWERK - pure urbanity and creativity
Here you will find the perfect environment if you are looking for urbanity but also peace and quiet.
In the in-house canteen you can enjoy freshly prepared food - whether vegetarian, vegan or with meat, in the inner courtyard you can talk to the creative people, in the Shreddereicafe there is really good coffee and of course cake. The gallery rooms of the Tapetenwerk and the galleries of the Spinnerei, just five minutes away, offer interesting exhibitions of international caliber.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY COURSE II - Perceiving and interpreting: Basically, it can be said that there is usually no clear-cut "right or wrong" in photography. The essential question is rather: What do I want to capture and express? And how do I ultimately achieve the desired result? While exploring the Italian landscape with its diverse architecture and still lifes, the basics of photography are taught through technical and creative exercises. Participants will learn about the various functions of their cameras and understand how individual settings such as aperture and exposure time influence the final image - without necessarily having to rely on subsequent image editing.
Meanwhile, artist and graduate photographer Julius C. Schreiner offers insights into the history of photography and its artistic practice.

Julius C. Schreiner, lives and works as a freelance artist and applied photographer in Leipzig and Berlin, working throughout Germany and internationally. During his studies at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig, he regularly led technical photography courses, organized youth art projects in cooperation with the Landeskulturamt and most recently taught for several semesters at the Abendakademie der HGB. His work has won several awards and has been exhibited and published internationally.
