Leipzig feiert Vielfalt: Interkulturelle Wochen starten mit Partnerstadtfest am 23. August

Leipzig celebrates diversity, its international city partnerships and cultural exchange. On August 23, the city will kick off the 33rd Intercultural Weeks with 115 events - and all Leipzig residents are cordially invited.

The varied program of the opening event of the Intercultural Weeks Leipzig 2024 includes Vietnamese dances, a reading of a fantasy story in cooperation with the twin city of Brno as well as numerous sporting and playful activities. Information stands offer insights into the work of the participating institutions and associations. A Greek street food truck and an Ethiopian coffee stand will provide culinary delights. The afternoon program offers many opportunities for discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.

As the initiator and publisher of the program, the Department for Migration and Integration of the City of Leipzig cordially invites everyone to take part in the intercultural offerings of the Action Weeks beyond the opening event.
