In the organizer's words:
When contemporary dance meets pop music.
On July 2, emerging artists Léon the Singer and Molly Mogul come together at Prachtwerk for an evening where pop music, movement, and performance art collide.
Drawing from their backgrounds in contemporary dance and multidisciplinary performance, both artists create work that extends beyond the traditional concert format. Through a blend of experimental pop, Y2K-inspired dance music, poetry, and theatrical storytelling, they invite audiences into worlds shaped by transformation, identity, and imagination.
Molly Mogul’s genre-blurring songwriting and movement-driven performances meet Léon the Singer’s theatrical pop universe, where queer identity, drag, and transformation take center stage. Together, they offer a night that moves between intimacy and spectacle, inviting the audience not only to listen, but to experience.
Expect an evening of live music, movement, and immersive performance from two artists redefining what contemporary pop can be.
Léon The Singer:
Based in Berlin and now also in Paris, Léon the Singer is a multidisciplinary artist redefining pop through performance, identity, and transformation. With a background in contemporary dance, he brings a physical and theatrical dimension to music that sets him apart from traditional pop acts.
His new album ‘ANDRO GENES’ explores queer identity through his alter ego, drag, and transformation. The project oscillates between intimacy and spectacle, blurring the line between performance and confession.
Musically, he fuses Y2K dance-pop with the raw, theatrical energy of glam rock, creating a sound that feels nostalgic yet radically new.
Molly Mogul:
Molly Mogul is a bilingual singer, songwriter, and multidisciplinary performance artist whose work blurs the lines between contemporary pop, experimental soundscapes, and movement-driven storytelling. Rooted in both visual and performing arts, Molly’s creative identity has been shaped by a constantly shifting landscape—geographically, culturally, and artistically.
A restless creative spirit led Molly to Barcelona, where they completed a Master’s in Creative Performance Practice with a focus on musical theater, expanding into contemporary dance.
Their debut album ‘A Bouquet of Hopes and Dreams’ is the culmination of years spent living nomadically and creating across cities, languages, and disciplines.
