A production with the CrazyChange theater club
A prince who finds everything boring. A princess who runs away. A kingdom that no longer takes itself seriously. And a choir that shakes everything up. Twelve players encounter Georg Büchner's grandiose comedy - a classic from 1836 that sounds astonishingly contemporary: disenchantment with politics, questionable ruler figures, role models that start to falter. Our focus this time: the chorus - spoken, sung, acted. There are multiple roles, characters are given different faces, voices and bodies. The result is a polyphonic, comic, sometimes melancholy delight that shows how timeless Büchner is.
With wit, music and the unmistakable CrazyChange. An invitation to all loyal fans - and to anyone who wants to rediscover the QUARTIER Theater.
