In the organizer's words:
2 people read what the audience brings: Goethe, shopping list, instruction manual, self-poetry.
Whatever you want to hear, bring it and we will read it. After each presentation you decide by applause which you liked better: The text or the performance. If the artist read better, he/she wins a beer, if the text is just too good, the beer goes to the visitor who brought it.
Here are the rules again:
All kinds of texts are allowed, even self-written ones (exceptions: racist, sexist and homophobic texts have no place in the clubhouse).
The texts compete against David and guest in alternation.
Text length does not matter, for long texts excerpts will be read.
You may also call in a lecture style - read hysterically! Read softly! Read backwards! Be creative.
If you want, you can bookmark your favorite part of the text.
Basically, the rule is: the longer the evening, the more beer!
