Lesung: "Bist Du behindert, oder was?" mit Mareice Kaiser & Rebecca Maskos

Inclusion is a human right - but it is not really practiced in everyday life. Disabled is still used as a dirty word, barriers and experiences of exclusion are often not talked about. Ableism, discrimination against people with disabilities, is structural and affects us all.

In their new book, authors Rebecca Maskos and Mareice Kaiser explore the question of how inclusion can succeed from an early age if we empower children inclusively and support them in a way that is sensitive to ableism. They provide important impulses on inclusion and ableism and show new ways for a fairer education and society. They have invited other experts and the illustrators Slinga and Max Hillerzeder to help shape the book and break down our idea of 'normal' bodies.
