With "These Girls"and "These Girls, too", Juliane Streich and SAFI celebrate women who have made music history. They talk about female musicians who have reshaped pop, punk, hip-hop and indie, while always asking questions about power, visibility and self-determination.

Whether Joan Jett, Amy Winehouse or LaFee: Streich and SAFI portray female artists who have pushed boundaries, broken clichés and shaped generations. It's not just about music, but also about attitude, solidarity and the courage to be different.

At this reading, the two will talk about feminist music history, pop culture and the soundtrack to new beginnings. A morning dedicated to feminism in the music industry, accompanied by a small brunch offer on floor 3 of the Lagerhaus cultural center in Bremen.

We open the doors at 10:30 a.m. The reading starts at 11:00 a.m.

Juliane Streich was born in East Berlin in 1983, grew up between a big city childhood and an allotment garden and found her way between punk and pop at an early age. She is a journalist and editor of the books "These Girls" and "These Girls, too", which are dedicated to feminist music history. Streich was head of the music and chief editorial department of the Leipzig city magazine kreuzer and now writes for MDR Kultur, ttt and various regional and national media.

SAFI is an artist, musician and author from Berlin. With her unmistakable voice and artistic approach, she moves between music, performance and text. She contributed to "These Girls" as an author and also brings her experience as a musician to the table, most recently with the album "Groteske" (Rookie Records).
