The author
Carola Christiansen was born and mostly raised in Hamburg. Before her hobby became her profession, she worked for an airline. She has traveled a lot, lived in Hong Kong, Luxembourg, Denmark and Venice, but she was always drawn back to the Elbe. She now writes mainly crime novels as her main occupation - but her conscientious research takes her all over the world. Under the motto: Suspense made in Altona, she developed her Hamburg chief inspector Siegfried Adam, among others. She was president of the crime writer network "Mörderische Schwestern e.V." for three years.
