Lesung mit Alard von Kittlitz

On October 9 at 8:00 pm, Alard von Kittlitz will visit us at the BUCHBOX! in Kastanienalle and read from his new book "Kismet".

An amour fou between two young people who could hardly be more different - and yet have more in common than they realize. Johanna is a law student from Frankfurt, David is a painter from Armenia, a refugee child. An exhibition of his art in Venice brings the two of them together, united by a belief in fateful destiny. However, their feelings and struggles with the traumas of the past threaten to divide them. Will the hope of being able to find their true selves through each other carry them through? Alard von Kittlitz grew up in India, Ethiopia and Germany. He studied philosophy and history and became a journalist. He began his career in 2009 at the FAZ, where he later became an editor in the politics section. In 2013, he moved to NEON and has been with DIE ZEIT since November 2015.
