When life gets shaky, sometimes all it takes is a courageous step into the unknown to face yourself anew.

On August 6, author Franziska Jebens will be a guest at the HAPPY Diversity bookstore in Frankfurt to present her new novel "Über der Brandung". In her touching story, she accompanies a disillusioned author on a journey to the end of the world - to a wild island in the Aegean Sea, where she learns to let go of old certainties and accept new perspectives. A novel about new beginnings, freedom, self-discovery and the power of following your own heart, published by S. Fischer.

Look forward to an inspiring summer evening full of wanderlust, depth and literary encounters. Franziska Jebens will read from her latest novel, talk about how it came about and give personal insights into her work as an author. Afterwards there will be room for questions, discussions and signings.

The reading will take place in the cozy atmosphere of the HAPPY Diversity bookshop in Frankfurt's Nordend district - a place of encounters, exchange and special stories.
