Magnus Knut Hansen leads a relaxed life as the dyke count of Dagebüll. But when two figures appear and abduct his sheep Dörte into a strange world, he doesn't hesitate for a second, hurries after them and soon finds himself on an adventure. He soon has to deal not only with ruffians, knights and fantastic creatures, but also with a much too talkative seagull and a princess who - for whatever reason - has a crush on him of all people. Nothing is further from Magnus' mind than adventure or romance. He wants his lighthouse, his peace and quiet and his sheep - and he won't give up until he has rescued Dörte.

Mikkel Robrahn, born in 1991 in the roaring waves of the North Sea, grew up in the south. Don't panic: In the south of Schleswig-Holstein! He spent a large part of his youth in Lauenburg training for his career as a handball goalkeeper in the Bundesliga. And he would have made it if it hadn't been for that stupid knee injury. For sure. As the grandson of a real captain who sailed all the world's oceans, he is something of a sailor himself. But as he gets seasick easily, he now has to write books.
