Parwana Amiri reads from her book *We Will Fly Higher*—a deeply personal collection of poems born from experiences of flight, loss, and hope. With powerful words, she explores themes of identity, belonging, and the strength to keep dreaming despite everything—for herself and for those who come after her.

The event will feature musical accompaniment by “Changing Sounds Solo.”

The reading is organized by the Aachen chapter of the nonprofit association Rolling Safespace (ROSA e.V.). ROSA advocates for gender-sensitive humanitarian aid and creates safer spaces for women who have fled their homes.

The event will be held primarily in English. Admission is free, and we would greatly appreciate donations to support Parwana Amiri and the work of ROSA e.V.
